Heaven or Hell? is it in This Life only, Asked to Guruji

The age-old question of what happens after death — heaven or hell — sparked a lively discussion among disciples. One eager student posed the question to their Guruji, “Where do we go after death, and how do we know if we’ve paid for our past karmas?”

The Guruji smiled. “Son,” he replied, “why worry about the afterlife when you can create heaven or hell in this very life? It’s all about your perception and the path you choose.”

Sensing the student’s continued curiosity, the Guruji offered a different perspective. “If you’re still keen to know about your next life, let’s talk about your past and present ones.”

“Look at your life now,” the Guruji continued. “You have all the luxuries imaginable — a lavish home, a loving family, expensive cars. This suggests that in your previous life, you must have accumulated some incredibly positive karma. You’re essentially experiencing heaven now.”

The Guruji then pointed to the student’s dog, Coco. “Coco lives in this comfortable house with you. In his past life, he must have done some good deeds to deserve this ‘heaven’ — a far cry from the life of a stray dog.”
